Transfer Station Opening Hours and Payment Options  

Home Island
Tuesday                             11am - 12pm
Friday                                 10:30am - 11:30am

West Island
Monday and Thursday       11am - 12pm 

Sunday                              3pm - 4pm Home Island.

The Transfer Stations will also be open by appointment at alternative times to receive commercial or residential waste paid for at the Shire Office or by additional arrangement.

Payment for waste requiring disposal can be made over the phone with the Home Island office or in person during the Home or West Island Office hours.

Please ensure all bins are placed on your kerbside before 7am on collection days. If you have damaged bins, please contact the Shire Office on 9162 6649 so we can arrange for a replacement or repair.
